Growing Green: 11,600 Trees Planted in Kigezi
In October 2023, we partnered with schools across the Kigezi Sub-region and Kabale University to plant a greener future. This initiative focuses on environmental restoration and community engagement to ensure a lasting impact.
11,600 Trees
Planted in partnership with schools across the Kigezi Sub-region and Kabale University.
Growing Green in Numbers
Our environment is our heritage. By growing these trees, we are working to:
Restore Green Cover
Revive the landscape and create healthier, greener spaces for communities and wildlife.
Reduce Greenhouse Emissions
Support a cleaner climate by increasing forest cover and reducing pressure on fragile ecosystems.
Create a Clean, Safe Atmosphere
Improve air quality and strengthen community wellbeing through cleaner, healthier surroundings.
Where These Trees Are Taking Root
We believe that involving students is the best way to ensure sustainability. We are proud to work with the following institutions where the trees are taking root:
1,600 Trees Planted
Each graduate planted a tree during the 2024 ceremony to mark a moment of growth, renewal, and community responsibility.
Kigezi High School
Bukinda Senior Secondary School
Kishanje Highlands High School
St. Barnabas Karujanga

A Better World
For Everyone
Emmanuel envisioned a world where one's capabilities touched people's lives. “If we all live up to this mantra, we will indeed be ‘Gifts to the World.’” January 1st 1983.
